Taking Advantage of The Career Center
The USC Admission team would like to highlight an important resource available to students once you arrive at USC: The USC Career Center.
The USC Career Center is located at the USC Student Union 110, 3601 Trousdale Pkwy and is USC student’s one stop shop for student career services.
The Career Center at USC hosts many in-person events for students to attend throughout the summer and academic year. The most popular event is the USC Fall and Spring Career Fair, where employers recruit USC students for full time, part time, and internship opportunities. The Center also hosts the USC On-Campus Fall and Spring Student Job Fairs which allow USC students the opportunity to get on-campus work study job positions.
No matter if it’s during summer or the academic year, the USC Career Center is open anytime for USC students and staff to come in and receive professional headshots at their self-service headshot booth. There are also Trojan Talks that take place at the USC Career Center which connects USC students to various employers or other external resources. There are also drop-in advising appointments at the USC Career Center where students can meet in-person with career advisors to ask career-related questions, map out a career plan, get connected with career resources, resume tailoring workshop, and interview prep as well.
The USC Career Center has many online tools available for students that provide various career resources, including Handshake, The Trojan Network, Candid Career+, and many more. All of these platforms are found on this weblink at the end of this page.
